Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd March
2:15–4:15pm
£45 / £25 each
Highly recommend to attend both.
saturday: surya namaskar a + surya namsakar b
– components explored that are often overlooked
sunday: inversions – a closer look at pre-requisites
Each 2 hour session will focus on the commonly practiced components of a vinyasa open class as taught at sangyé yoga. We will explore how to integrate breathing, engaging and gazing mechanisms to invite awareness into the linking of movements and shapes.
Questions are encouraged – don’t be shy and be open to a bit of fun. bring your sense of humour.
Ideally, the asanas to be reviewed could also be utilised as a foundation for a simple daily self-practice when unable to attend a class or when occasionally short of time but aiming to maintain consistency . A guided relaxation (corpse pose – shavasana) will conclude each session.
Foundations workshops are suitable and open to beginners, refiners and teachers. invite and accompany a friend/family member who is new to yoga. Share your love and appreciation for it! All levels welcome. (really:)
*sys recommends to book in advance, as an expression of interest/commitment and workshops are often full to capacity early on. limited capacity for each session for safety reasons (especially inversions).
