Lauren teaches Vinyasa yoga with classes centred around a monthly theme, integrating traditional teachings such as the Yoga Sutras or Shastra providing students with focal points for reflection on the practice beyond Asana.
This approach helps support an inward journey, fostering a deeper connection to the practice on and off the mat and encouraging an exploration of all 8 limbs of the yoga practice.
Music is used to assist participants in carrying the energy and “flow’ of the class. This helps to facilitate a feeling of seamlessness (as well as playfulness!) throughout transitions to create a fully immersive experience.
These are open classes so there will be options for both new and seasoned practitioners
Physical adjustments are used in these classes to help students with proper alignment- please let her know if you would prefer not to be assisted
Lauren completed here YTT at Sangye Yoga School with Cat and Phil in 2019 and has continued to deepen her understanding of the practice through regular self study
In 2021 Lauren founded WYKD with 2 friends – a not for profit community yoga organisation offering classes to those who may not otherwise have access to yoga.
